Old telephones will be accepted at these e-waste management firms throughout the year.

 

Televisions

Televisions will be accepted at these e-waste management firms throughout the year.

 

Thermostats

Thermostats contain mercury. Homeowners can take them to Miller Environmental Corporation for free disposal.

 

Please contact Miller Environmental Corporation at 204-925-9600 for additional information.

 

Tires

Used tires can be recycled. Most stores that sell tires will accept your old tires for recycling. If not, please contact Reliable Tire Recycling at 204-774-0725 to bring your used tires for recycling.

 

Toilets

You can recycle your old toilet(s) for a small fee by taking them to the following approved toilet recycling depots:

Please be considerate and remove the plastic seat and all metal parts before recycling.

 

Toner Cartridges

Recycle your toner cartridges. Please contact “A1 Cartridge Service" at 204-774-9973 for additional information.

 

Toys

Old toys are accepted by Canadian Diabetes Association for pick-up.

 

Big Brothers Big Sisters Winnipeg also accepts old toys as donations. Please call 204-943-5437 to schedule a free pick-up.

 

Tree Trimmings

Tree trimmings no more than one meter long and weighing no more than 34 kilograms can be put out for regular garbage collection.

 

To grind trees and other wood waste contact Green Grinders at Ph: 204-233-0383.  The finished product can be used as boiler fuel (often as a substitute for coal).
